Copy Drawing Class
This class follows the Charles Bargue drawing course, which was first published in 1867. Students will copy drawing plates from the original course. Students will be given instruction on procedures and methods of drawing as well as instruction that will develop their abilities to see with extreme accuracy.
Class Times: This course is taught throughout the day and students should plan to spend 2-3 hours per session in the studio. Students can schedule their session any time between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., depending on the time of day that works best for them. Students can combine 2 sessions into one day if they need to, which would allow them to stay 5-6 hours to work on their drawing. Personal critiques are given every session.
